Answer - During the busy part of the flying season, we ask to allow 2 weeks to ship. But, in most cases, lead time is much shorter. Custom covers are usually completed and ready to ship in a week or less. We try to keep our universal covers in stock so we are normally able to ship them right out.
Answer - This is where the 2 week rule comes into play. It will take us approx. 1 week to get the material if we don’t have your pattern in stock. Your order will go in line as soon as payment is made, so once we get your material, your cover will be next in line for construction. So, lead time on special order material is 2 weeks, or a bit less.
Our covers are guaranteed for 2 years from construction issues. This would include loose threads, nose section coming loose, elastic coming off, things like that. It does not include holes in the cover from sharp objects such as a canopy latch, model machine guns, antennas, ect. Be careful to cover those sharp areas before you install your cover.
Our covers are made from genuine milliskin fabric. That is a high quality spandex that will allow plenty of stretch for easy installation and nice fit.
